Submissions
Submission Guidelines
Written submissions should be 3000 words or less ( we’re flexible with the margin.) We encourage reading our archives to get an idea of the kind of work we dig. We will publish a maximum of 1 piece per season from any given artist. No multiple submissions, please. Simultaneous submissions are encouraged, but please let us know if you have submitted the piece elsewhere. Authors retain all rights except first electronic rights. Please be professional in your approach. Send polished, error-free pieces. Image submissions should be a minimum of 1000 pixels in width (72 dpi min).
Include Name, Email, Bio (under 100 words), Social Media Links with your submissions .DOC, .PDF, .RTF, .JPG, .PNG submissions are preferred – using our submission form only. Please use industry standard practices in formatting your submissions. Download template.
SPLIT seeks to discover and publish really great stuff. Stories, photos, art, poetry, whatever – give us compelling creative content and it we’ll find it a home. Take advantage of being a part of the SPLIT.

SPEAK. Cultural material and traditions have long been passed generation to generation orally. Words, when spoken not only tell stories and paint pictures but also pass critical information through the years. Large portions of religious doctrines were written years, decades even centuries after canonical events took place – often drawing criticism on the authenticity of oral histories. What does the word SPEAK evoke for you? Send us your best interpretations, definitions or visualizations by 5/9/2013.
